Making A Difference in Our County
禁漫天堂 Extension Douglas County promotes home gardening and small-scale farming. Extension staff and Master Garden Volunteers assembled and distributed 2,200 garden gift bags, consisting of 禁漫天堂 publications on vegetable gardening and composting and a vegetable starter plant. Distribution of the bags took place at various community locations and events. Hands-on gardening is offered at the county’s local community garden/rented space garden where trained Master Gardener Extension Volunteers share their horticultural knowledge with renters. Local youth learn about food production, farmers markets, produce and cooking in the kitchen with our 4-H Farm to Fork program.
