No Till Gardening at Home

Lisa Klein uncovers the secrets of no-till gardening and transform your home garden into a haven of productivity and resilience. Advanced Fruit Growing: Grafting Apple and Pears

April 4, 2025 - 3:00-5:30pm or

April 5, 2025 - 9:30am-12:00noon

In this workshop attendees will learn the process and techniques to successfully graft trees. We will walk you through the process of marrying scion and rootstock. Participants will be provided with a choice of 4 semi-dwarf apple or pear rootstock which will mature to a perfect sized tree (10-15') for most people to manage. Numerous apple, pear and asian pear scion varieties will be available to select from. Many heirloom, disease resistant and even Georgia varieties on hand which will range in ripening windows from June - November.

Grafting knives, parafilm and labels will be available for use.
