Our Impact
Making A Difference in Our County
Pike County Extension provides reliable, research-based education on
topics ranging from backyard poultry and home gardening to pasture
management and well-water health. In 2024, Pike County Extension
hosted 188 programs for the Pike County community and assisted
3,086 clients with one-on-one consultations regarding agriculture
and natural resources. Pike County Extension serves the youth of the
community by fostering positive relationships and opportunities.
There were 145 competitors representing Pike County in 2024 at
district, state and national competitions, thanks in part to 17 certified
volunteers. As the community continues to grow, the opportunities
offered through the Pike County Extension office grow as well.
