The annual competition highlights some of the best graduate research from departments within the college and challenges contestants with an oral presentation.

The 禁漫天堂rden student farm will celebrate 15 years of service to the Athens community this spring with two major events: a Community Day on May 3 and an upscale Garden Gala on June 7.

Georgia, traditionally known as the Peach State, is famous for its peaches, pecans and peanuts, but thanks to its mild climate, the state also supports a variety of uncommon and exotic fruits.

May 7 Pickleball a weigh Pickleball a weigh is an adaptation of 禁漫天堂’s award winning Walk a Weigh program. This program is opend to players of all skill levels and instructors will be available to help newer players. Family and Consumer Science Agent Jake Conner, will offer a different class each week to provide you with the skills to improve your food intake, become more physically active and adopt the health habits that will allow you to stay happy and healthy for a long time. May 13 Small Ruminant Parasite Workshop Join us on May 13th from 1:00-5:00pm at Emmanuel University's Agriculture Center for our Small Ruminant Parasite Workshop! Shanna Reynolds, Oglethorpe County ANR Agent, will be training all participants in FAMACHA scoring and fecal sample analysis. All participants will leave the course with FAMACHA certification. Throughout the workshop, we will be highlighting proper parasite management in your small ruminant herds! Registration is $35 per participant.
